Party, Party, Party!

Join Val at Mellowood Studio for an afternoon of fun and creativity at a Watercolour Painting Party,.

You will be guided, step-by-step, in painting a watercolour scene while enjoying an afternoon of fellowship. All materials will be supplied and, at the end of the afternoon, you will take home a finished painting with a mat and a clear acrylic bag for protection. That's the fun, the paint, the paper and the help all for low cost of $55.00. All you need to finish off your masterpiece is an easily purchased frame to suit your decor. And your signature on the bottom of your painting!

There are four types of party to choose from:

Vignettes — Choose ahead of time from 9 different scenes and I can have your drawing all prepared so all you have to do is follow my guidelines and paint. You will do an 11 x 14 watercolour and have a 16 x 20 mat to give it that finished look.

Northern Lights — Choose one of 5 scenes. Just like the vignettes, this will result in a beautiful 11 x 14 painting ready to remind of the day you spent in the Northwest Territories.

Little Guys — You will choose 2 scenes for the Little Guys Party. I will guide you through the painting and you will end up with two 5 x 7 paintings with 8 x 10 mats. There are 5 scenes to choose from.

Building in Fog — Choose one of 6 scenes. Just like the vignettes, this will result in a beautiful 11 x 14 painting ready to grace your home (or that of a favorite friend or relative).

Parties will be held in the afternoon from 12:30 to 4:00. Don't have three and a half hours? Plan a two hour party where you and your friends will each paint a 6x9 watercolor! And the price is reduced to only $45.00. Cool.

When are we having these cool parties? Well, due to the recent (and ongoing?) pandemic we currently do not have scheduled dates for parties. But, that doesn't mean that you can't have fun with me and your friends! Call me to arrange a date for a customized paint party!
